An oasis in the heart of Sarasota, the facility is an ideal place for anyone to enjoy a peaceful and harmonious environment. Come relax for a few minutes in the community room, sit quietly in one of the meditation rooms or shop in our gift shop. Everyone, regardless of age, culture or beliefs is welcome to enjoy the peace of mind that the World Peace Temple offers.
Classes & Retreats
KMC Florida offers many courses, events and retreats though out the year. These courses range from advice for daily life and learning to meditate, to in-depth studies of Buddha’s teachings. The center also offers retreats for all levels of interest.
Public Meditations
The purpose of a meditation center or Temple is to create a culture of peace, peace of mind and compassion are regarded as paramount. For this reason, KMC Florida offers guided meditations on a daily basis for anyone who wishes to learn how to meditate or deepen their meditation practice and experience of their spiritual path. Donations are welcome but no one will be turned away.
